LGBT Great Commissions New Research Project on LGBTQ+ Talent Attraction and Retention

London, August 2024 – LGBT Great is thrilled to unveil an ambitious new research initiative aimed at transforming the Financial Services industry into the place of choice for LGBTQ+ talent and supportive allies. This pioneering research project, "Recruiting with Pride: Enhancing Talent Attraction and Retention," seeks to uncover the trends, drivers, and barriers affecting LGBTQ+ professionals at work.

The importance of this project cannot be overstated. In an era where diversity and inclusion are critical to business success, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities faced by LGBTQ+ talent is more urgent than ever. As businesses strive to become more inclusive, this research will provide the necessary insights to bridge the gap between perception and reality for LGBTQ+ talent and talent attraction professionals.

LGBT Great is committed to leveraging its extensive expertise in diversity and inclusion to drive this project. Through a robust hybrid research methodology combining qualitative and quantitative data, we aim to provide organisations with actionable insights and frameworks to enhance their employer brand. This initiative aligns with our mission to foster an inclusive culture that supports LGBTQ+ talent across all stages of their career lifecycle, from attraction to retention and beyond.

This piece of research marks one of LGBT Great’s largest thought leadership projects with the quantitative fieldwork spanning 1800+ respondents across 7 global markets (US, UK, HG, SG, FR, IND, GER). These financial hubs were selected to ensure that the research findings are most relevant to LGBT Great members and the wider industry operating within these markets.

The research results and paper is set to be unveiled at the end of November 2024.
