About
Bio: Ted is a member of the firm's senior leadership team and oversees the operations of our businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in his capacity as head of Wellington Management International Limited (WMIL). As Director of Investments-EMEA, he manages, recruits and mentors the group's investors in the London office. He ensures they have the appropriate resources to serve the firm's clients, works on strategic and tactical business issues for the team and represents the group in meetings with clients, consultants and prospects.
In addition to heading WMIL, Ted is Director of WMIL's Board of Directors and a member of its Compensation Committee. He chairs the firm's Trading Policy Review Group, which reviews Wellington's trading policies and practices and is also a member of the WMIL Management Committee, Error Resolution Council, Managing Director Advisory Committee and New Partner Advisory Committee.
Before assuming his role as Director of Investments-EMEA, Ted ran Global Fixed Income Trading after several years in leadership on the Equity Trading desk. Before joining the firm in 2007, he was a managing director and regional manager for Piper Jaffray (2006 - 2007) and a sales trader at UBS (2004 - 2006) and Schwab Soundview Capital Markets (2001 - 2004). He started his career at Robertson Stephens (1998 - 2001).
Ted received his BA in economics from the College of the Holy Cross (1998).
