Bio: Fabio is the Director, Indexes Marketing Europe at Morningstar with 13 years of experience working in financial services. Originally from Switzerland, Fabio worked in Europe’s major financial centres, including Zurich, Frankfurt and London.
At Morningstar’s EMEA headquarters in London, Fabio is the DEI lead for the EMEA region ensuring the broader topic of diversity and inclusion is placed firmly on the company agenda, acting as a liaison between senior leadership, Talent and Culture as well as external professional associations and organisations. Fabio is the driving force behind Morningstar’s annual Pride party which keeps growing in scale bringing the wider financial services together celebrating the LGBT community.
Additionally, Fabio is the founder of Out@Morningstar; the employees resource group that builds a platform for LGBT colleagues at workplace. This group is a safe space and is meant to provide support for the community to feel accepted and valued beyond being just a professional, but for the wealth of their personal experiences.
Fabio says: “Although there might be still a mile to go for the financial industry to catch up on diversity and inclusion, what is important to highlight is, that we are taking meaningful steps to get there already.”
