About
Bio: Daniel has been in the pension industry for the whole of his career and joined LCP as a Senior Consultant in 2015. He works closely with Trustee boards helping them to make effective and informed decisions and helping them ensure that they adopt strong governance and best practice.
Daniel is Founder and Co-Chair of LCP's LGBT+ network which forms part of LCP's wider Diversity and Inclusion strategy. The group was launched at the beginning of 2018 and is working with Stonewall as one of their nominated Diversity Champions. The group had its first event in June 2018, at which over 100 LGBT+ staff, partners and allies came together to not only learn about the group and its work, but to raise money for the Albert Kennedy Trust, which helps young LGBT+ people in Manchester, London and Newcastle.
LCP welcomes and embraces the diversity of its people and was honoured to be the first ever recipient of the Award for Supporting Diversity at the Professional Pensions Women in Pensions Awards 2018. Having worked elsewhere in the industry in his career, Daniel knows that not all employers are as supportive. He is therefore passionate about promoting the benefits of a diverse, welcoming and nurturing workplace and the positive impact this has on the health and happiness of its employees. To that end, Daniel is a qualified Mental Health First Aider, as well as having trained with Stonewall on being an LGBT+ Role Model.
He is looking forward to being a positive voice in driving forward equality and diversity and inclusivity in the pensions industry.
