Martin Andrew
Chief Executive Officer at Close Brothers Asset Management
About
Bio: Martin joined Close Brothers in 2005 and has been CEO of the Asset Management division since 2008.
Previously, he was with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM) where he worked in a range of roles in the US and the UK, including strategy, distribution and marketing culminating in leading MLIM's European private client business. Before MLIM Martin worked for McKinsey & Co.
He has a First Class degree in Economics from Leicester University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Martin comments: "I am an LGBT+ executive ally because I strongly believe in inclusion and equal opportunities for all. Because I recognise that a company's strength is fundamentally dependent upon its diversity. And because, finally and most importantly, ours is a people business - regardless of circumstances, we all need allies in our careers and I want all of our people to continue to feel safe, comfortable and supported in their workplace.
Close Brothers Asset Management and I are proud to support this initiative because we celebrate diversity in every sense, recognising that the wider and deeper our talent pool the happier, more productive and more innovative we will be as a business. Diversity of people leads to diversity of thought and that is of enormous benefit to us and to our clients."
