About

Bio: Marta Jeczen has been with Brown Brothers Harriman Investor Services since 2014. She is the supervisor of the Transfer Agency Enhanced Control Team who has throughout her tenure, been an active and vocal member of the BBH Pride Network in Krakow, Poland.

"What drew me to BBH was their diversity and inclusion mission statement. BBH Krakow was able to prove these were more than just words when they made history by becoming the first firm in the city to hang a rainbow flag for Pride Month. This was quite a bold move. I knew then, this is a Firm whose visions and values I can stand behind.

During induction week, amidst BCP and safe & health trainings, we became acquainted with the BBH Affinity Network Communities. I was immediately drawn to the Pride Network aimed at creating a welcoming community for employees who identify as LGBT and their allies.

I am proud to belong to an organization so truly committed to the idea that everyone, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, should feel empowered. In the Pride Network, individuals from all lines of business come together to work in cultivating a diverse, accepting and inclusive workplace. We organize events, welcoming the entire organization, focusing on education and advocacy.

As an ally, I hold myself responsible in creating an environment where all people can feel accepted and thrive. I do so by committing to my allyship, unconditionally supporting my colleagues and providing acceptance, free of judgement. I genuinely believe kindness and compassion go a long way and as a collective, we have the power to make a lasting impact."
