About
Bio: Shan Li (he/him) is a Non-Financial Risk Manager within Deutsche Bank’s Investment Banking division. As the Inclusion Pillar Lead for the Investment Bank’s People Strategy, and the Charity & Partnerships Lead of dbPride, Deutsche Bank’s LGBTQ+ employee resource group, Shan has spearheaded a range of high-impact intersectional events to improve LGBTQ+ inclusion at the bank, including raising awareness of HIV for World AIDS Day, supporting parents of neurodivergent children and celebrating Asian culture heritage. He is the driving force behind Deutsche Bank’s “Born to be Proud” initiative, an outreach program in partnership with charities Educate & Celebrate (2022–23) and Diversity Role Models (2023–) to provide LGBTQ+ awareness training to secondary schools.
Shan was awarded Deutsche Bank’s DEI Role Model of the Year in 2024 for his work to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion at the bank.
