About
Bio: Lisa works in Claims Analytics at Zurich Insurance and currently chairs the Zurich UK Pride network. When Lisa joined Zurich in 2020 on the graduate scheme she was anxious about being out at work but the Pride network and other visible LGBTQ+ people in the organisation helped her to gain the confidence to be her authentic self at work. She wants everyone to have the same positive experience that she had and to feel included at Zurich. Lisa is very passionate about making Zurich as inclusive as possible for all our LGBTQ+ customers and colleagues.
Throughout the last four years at Zurich, Lisa has created a lot of both internal and external communications to raise awareness and increase visibility for different LGBTQ+ identities and their experiences. As she identifies on the aroace spectrum herself, she is particularly passionate about fighting misconceptions and stereotypes around lesser known LGBTQ+ identities. She also created and delivered extensive training for the business as well as supported the organisation of awareness raising events. She also organised and facilitated Zurich's participation in external Pride events and round table discussions.
Additionally, Lisa is involved in reviewing and updating HR policies to keep them in line with best practice language as well as providing guidance around LGBTQ+ inclusive services to other business areas. Lisa continuously supports members of the Pride committee and ensures they are empowered to help facilitate change within the organisation.
