About
Bio: Katie Toole currently serves as the Global People, Culture & Engagement Lead for BNY’s Information Security Division (ISD) within the COO team. She works alongside the companies Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Matt McCormack and Senior Management. Among other things, she rolled out Cyber training (CyberYOU) to enterprise-wide in an impressive eight months. Katie also ensures external engagements have the proper level of approval and assures nominations, awards and employee morale remains top priority. She is admired by her colleagues for her kind and inclusive demeanor along with her organizational and planning skills.
She is Global Co-Chair of BNY’s LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group (PRISM), One of the top 100 LGBTQ+ Gamechanges (from LGBT Great) in 2022 and a finalist for Women in Technology 'Advocate of the Year' in 2021. Katie was also named the prestigious Global DEI Champion in 2019 and exudes empathy and a safe space for all who meet her.
Katie is the Board President of Small Town Hope, Inc., a nonprofit organization that amplifies health and wellness for children within rural Western PA. She also serves on the Executive Board of PERSAD (Personal Adjustment), assisting with health and wellness for the LGBTQ+ community (80% serving the Trans community) within Western, PA. Katie is a proud graduate of Saint Francis University and resides in Pittsburgh, PA.
