Bio: Emma Palethorpe (She/her) is an award-winning leader with over 30 years of experience driving business change to achieve strategic goals in Financial Services. A Chartered Manager with an MBA, she began her career in the 1990s, working with blue-chip organizations in London. Since 2017, Emma has been with St. James's Place (SJP), where she currently serves as Head of Change for SJP’s Asia business, supporting operations in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Dubai.
Known for her passion for collaborative success, Emma is driven by a commitment to excellence. Her colleagues describe her as energetic, determined, organized, analytical, and deeply caring.
In addition to her business acumen, Emma is a dedicated advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusion. As Co-Chair of SJPride, SJP’s LGBTQ+ employee network, she partners with leading organizations such as LGBT Great, myGwork, and Stonewall to promote LGBTQ+ diversity within SJP and the broader investment industry. She also spearheads a network for SJP’s Financial Advisers, equipping them to better meet the needs of LGBTQ+ clients.
Beyond her role at SJP, Emma is a driving force for inclusion in Gloucestershire. She founded and leads an LGBTQ+ inclusion network for employers across the county and actively volunteers with local LGBTQ+ charities.
