Bio: Andrew is a Partner at Sackers, the UK’s leading law firm which advises all aspects of the pensions industry. Andrew advises trustees, providers and employers on a broad spectrum of defined benefit and defined contribution pensions issues. Andrew values building relationships with clients and his work for them ranges from individual, technical queries through to complex projects and transactional work.
Andrew has been an active member of the firm’s ED&I committee since January 2021, having organised and been involved in a variety of initiatives. Andrew has supported the committee internally and represented Sackers externally with communications, attendance at events, implementing strategic partnerships and raising awareness around LGBTQ+ issues. He also understands the importance of raising the profile of LGBTQ+ people within the wider industry and is a member of external network O:Pen, an inclusive organisation celebrating LGBTQ+ diversity and inclusion in the pensions industry.
