About
Bio: Lauren joined TEKsystems three years ago, in July 2021, and is currently in the role of Internal Communications Manager. Through this role, she supports on a range of projects, including those tying into the Employee Experience, Wellbeing and DEI strategies.
Lauren has over seven years of experience in Employee Engagement and Communications, having also previously worked for Sainsbury's and Network Rail. She also has a BSc in Psychology with Education Studies and recently completed her CIPD Level 5 Diploma in People Management.
Lauren is incredibly passionate about creating a better, more inclusive world for everyone, particularly the LGBTQ+ community. As a proud bisexual woman, she leads her organisation's Pride@TEK Employee Resource Group and plays an active role in their EMEA Inclusion and Diversity Committee. Outside of work, Lauren is also co-chair of Amnesty International's Rainbow Network.

I hope to help share knowledge, develop understanding, promote visibility and representation, and role model the behaviours I hope to see in others. I firmly believe that our differences make us stronger, and I hope to encourage everyone to embrace their differences and be their authentic self."
