About
Bio: Aung at present is Head of Front of House at Julius Baer International (JBI) in the UK, which specialises in private wealth management. He is responsible for providing client service on reception and managing day-to-day operations across the client zone. In addition, he oversees the wellbeing of JBI colleagues by organising social events including Summer and Christmas parties and Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) special occasions, in line with the company’s commitment to professionalism, integrity and wellbeing. Aung is a member of the in-house JB Care and D&I committees. He has been closely involved with organising D&I events for Burmese and Chinese New Years, Eid, Easter and Pride.
Before joining JBI, Aung worked at five-star hotels across Asia, the Middle East and the UK. He was actively involved in their hospitality-related committees, including their D&I and social event groups.
Aung has recently completed a six-month leadership programme and an 18-month apprenticeship in project management in London. He believes diverse and inclusive businesses have greater potential than others to unlock value, deliver great service to clients and make a lasting, positive impact on society.
