About
Bio: Charlie joined Greystar in 2019 and is currently a Senior Director in the global People & Culture leadership group. Day to day, Charlie supports a variety of lines of business, stakeholders, and regions with core people related activities, including talent acquisition, DE&I, as well as leading exciting HR transformation programmes. Prior to joining Greystar, Charlie held various people-related roles across multiple industries, including research, advisory, and investment management.
One of Charlie's key drivers, both personally and professionally, is ensuring equality of opportunity, regardless of someone's background, and strives to embed a culture of openness, authenticity and integrity in whatever environment he finds himself in. Although progressing the agenda for the LGBT+ community is something close to his heart, he tries to ensure that this philosophy of inclusion is adopted across any and all underrepresented groups, irrespective of what that self-identifying characteristic might be.
Charlie has supported and continues supports Greystar's LGBT inclusion strategy in different capacities; as the current global co-lead for Greystar's DEI Talent Attract committee, as previous chair for Greystar Europe's DEI group, and through coordinating team member spotlights and events that highlight the need for education, organisational participation and recognition across Greystar's global business.
One of Charlie's personal values is always staying true to himself. He considers this as critical to both his success, and his happiness.
