About
Bio: Marie-Ann joined Zurich in 2022 and is currently finishing the last few months of the Business Graduate Scheme as a Performance and Insights analyst. Day to day, Marie-Ann analyses and presents data from various business areas to enable the leadership team to make informed decisions that improve our efficiency and customer satisfaction. Prior to joining Zurich, Marie-Ann studied at the University of Glasgow and has a bachelor’s degree in Physiology and Sport Science.
Marie-Ann is passionate about diversity and inclusion in the workplace to ensure that everyone feels comfortable bringing their ‘whole-self’ to work. As a result, her work with the Zurich Pride committee this year has focused on educating the business on active allyship by delivering LGBTQ+ inclusion training and intersectionality.
Marie-Ann supports the Zurich Pride Committee, this involves working on the annual Stonewall Submission, supporting the annual in person conference by organising and facilitating workshops and speaker sessions for other Zurich employees, virtual events and organising attendance at various Pride parades for a number of our office locations including Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow & London. This work ensures that all employees across the UK can attend Pride events to learn more about LGBTQ+ inclusion and create an inclusive environment. Marie-Ann also drives LGBTQ+ inclusion within the wider market and locally, in Glasgow, by joining round table discussion and working with other organisations through Stonewall.
Marie-Ann is a strong advocate for creating an environment where individuals can authentically be themselves. Her success is rooted in her commitment to being the best version of herself by staying true to her values and living by them.
