About
Bio: Pantea Kalantary Rad is the co-chair of BlackRocks LGBTQ+ network Out & Allies in Italy and co-chair of the OUT Women+ initiative, a subgroup of the network dedicated to highlighting the experience of queer women and allies.
Pantea is a strong advocate for gender equality and a vocal intersectional feminist, actively participating in several diversity and inclusion networks and initiatives across BlackRock. Pantea is committed to fostering an inclusive and connected work environment where both individual identities and communities are valued and promoted. Additionally, she is dedicated to creating spaces within the Financial Services industry where underrepresented communities can share their experiences and have their voices heard.
Pantea is a member of the Government Affairs and Public Policy team, based in Milan. Her team advocates for policies in the long-term best interest of investors by supporting the creation of regulatory regimes that increase financial market transparency, protect investors, and facilitate responsible growth of capital markets, while preserving consumer choice.
Prior to joining BlackRock, Pantea worked in the Public Policy team of Amazon Web Services (AWS), where she focused on policy advocacy related to the tech industry.
Pantea holds a BA in Political, Social and International Sciences from the University of Bologna, and a joint MA in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University and the University of Bologna.
