About
Bio: Maisie joined Beazley in 2022 and currently serves as a Conduct Risk Officer. In her day job, Maisie supports various business areas, with a strong focus on underwriting, to ensure products consistently prioritise the customer. Maisie has been working in the London insurance market for six years.
Maisie is passionate about fostering inclusive teams and promoting a highly collaborative environment. She works closely with her colleagues to ensure that inclusivity and intersectionality are considered at every stage, from talent acquisition to benefits and ongoing support.
Maisie is Co-Chair of Beazley Proud, the LGBTQ+ employee network, where she leads the committee in promoting, educating and celebrating the community among colleagues. She embraces Beazley’s diverse culture and is dedicated to recognising the intersections within it, bringing them into focus through a humans-centered perspective.
Maisie also supports in her role of Sponsorship Coordinator on the UK Link Steering Committee; Link are the cross-industry insurance LGBTQ+ Network that promotes the industry as an inclusive place for people. She works closely with the network leads of D&I to drive inclusion and acceptance within the workplace.
Maisie is a strong advocate for uplifting underrepresented group within the community, working to eliminate stigmas and raise awareness about those who are often less visible.
