About
Bio: Marco joined WTW in 2022 and currently serves as a Senior Program Manager for Investments. In this role, he is responsible for managing relationships with some of the firm’s Wealth clients within the business line, ensuring they receive tailored support to meet their needs and reach their goals. Marco also plays a critical role in helping the business achieve its strategic objectives, embodying the company’s core values along the way.
Marco is passionate about efficiency and has actively contributed to enhancing team productivity. He has developed new initiatives, established various processes, and streamlined communication channels to ensure that client services are both consistent and high-quality. These efforts have been instrumental in supporting the team’s ability to scale and meet client expectations effectively.
In addition to his primary responsibilities, Marco serves as one of the co-chairs of WTW’s UK LGBT+ network, where he has advocated for LGBT+ inclusion within the firm and beyond. He has led discussions on allyship in the workplace, engaged with clients to share best practices for inclusivity, organised the company’s participation in pride events, and contributed to educational sessions on fostering a diverse and inclusive culture. Marco oversees daily operations for the network, supporting WTW’s strategic goals for DEI (Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion) across talent, culture, community engagement, and investments.
Driven by his own experiences as a gay individual in the workplace, Marco is committed to advancing Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion. He understands first-hand the importance of a workplace where everyone feels empowered to be themselves and believes that an inclusive environment fosters greater collaboration, creativity, and productivity. In 2022, I transitioned to the Financial Services sector, bringing my skills in project management and leadership to a new industry.
As a mentor, I bring a wealth of knowledge in navigating career transitions, project leadership, and working within diverse environments. As a gay man, I am also passionate about fostering inclusive workplaces and supporting others in overcoming personal and professional challenges.
