About

Bio: Tors Tomblin has worked as a Human Resources professional for five years, championing DEIB throughout her career. Since joining alternatives industry investment advisor Albourne Partners Limited in 2021, Tors has consistently strived to include DEIB into the day-to-day implementation of her role and function processes. Tors has Co-Chaired Albourne Pride, the company’s LGBTQ+ ERG, since 2022 and been a member of the DEIB Council since 2023.

Tors believes that Human Resources plays an integral role in centring DEIB concerns into corporate decision making, with Human Resources having an important responsibility to manage and improve both employee experience and company culture. Tors has reviewed policies, lead training and worked with hiring managers to challenge learned behaviours and attitudes.

In her role as Albourne Pride Co-Chair, Tors has lead firm-wide events collaborating with different charities and businesses to educate employees and cultivate community for LGBTQ+ employees and allies.

As a queer woman, Tors is proud to be able to offer her insights on LGBTQ+ issues; as well as her involvement with the implementation of Albourne Group’s DEIB Strategic Plan, across four key themes: Attract, Belong, Promote and Influence, in order to continue fostering creativity, collaboration and innovation.
