Bio: Andrew Hastings is a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion lead working at abrdn, and based in Edinburgh.
Having started his career in technology (following his study of Biochemistry at university), Andrew’s passion has led him to running DEI initiatives as part of a small centre of excellence team; including a variety of initiatives across the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion landscape both internally and externally.
From his own experiences as a gay man and late-diagnosed ADHD to listening to and absorbing the stories, challenges and opportunities of individuals from all different backgrounds, he looks to drive client , partnership, colleague, and wider society impact... improving value, belief and progress across DEI.
