About
Bio: Jake is a Supplier Sustainability & Governance Manager at Aviva Investors, focussing on 3rd Party Oversight and the Governance in place to support the individuals who maintain those relationships within the company, along with helping to embed Sustainability and Net-Zero into Aviva Investors supply chain.
After finishing University, Jake worked within Supply Chain Planning for a cosmetics company and used the skills gained here to make the jump into the Investment Management industry. It was at Aviva Investors Jake has learned the industry was more inclusive than he initially realised and that the company has taken great strides to foster D,E&I at all levels of its operations. Initially joining as an Analyst, after a successful couple of years, Jake was promoted and has also taken on the responsibility of being one of the LGBTQ+ Network co-chairs at Aviva Investors.
During his time as co-chair, the network has relaunched and increased its membership; becoming increasingly visible within the organisation, the network is a safe space for the community and place for pro-active allies to learn. Along with being involved with working to educate the wider workforce on LGBTQ+ related issues and topics.
