About
Bio: As the questionnaires manager in Client Reporting Services at Wellington, Tom is responsible for a global team charged with delivering best-in-class Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), 15cs (for subadvisory relationships), and other ad-hoc questionnaires/deliverables. Within this role, Tom assist in the procurement of new business and meets the complex reporting requirements of current clients; accurately, clearly, and articulately describing the firm and its investment solutions.
Tom also collaborates with his peers worldwide on a variety of strategic and tactical initiatives aimed at creating efficiencies within the function and enhancing questionnaire content. Tom has held various management roles within the finance and banking industry including former roles at Investors Bank & Trust (marketing and fund accounting), Batterymarch Financial Management (marketing), and J O Hambro Capital Management (Head of N.A. Marketing).
Tom manages a global team of 60 colleagues and serves as a co-chair of our global Pride+ business network/ ERG. He is also actively involved in philanthropic endeavours in his local community supporting organisations including the Speak Easy Stage Company, GLAD, PFLAG, and the Southern Poverty Law Center. Tom was recently promoted from managing the Americas to his now global role and has served as an LGBT+ leader and role model in his various leadership positions at the firm since joining six years ago. Tom is a highly respected leader at the firm.
Tom is an active mentor to early and underrepresented talent, drawing on his vast experience and proven track record for deliberate commitment to advancing DEI both inside and outside of the firm. He has cultivated talent within the Pride+ network and consistently empowers his LT and sub-committees to take ownership over initiatives and events, often showcasing their talents when he could step into the limelight himself. Tom has spearheaded phenomenal cross-industry programming for LGBT+ inclusion.
