About
Bio: Marion is the Chief Administrative Officer at State Street and is also the founder of Women of Interbank, the women's group of Interbank, the network of LGBTQ+ networks for financial services firms in the UK. She also sits on the State Street UK Pride Network Steering Committee.
As a role model, Marion regularly appears on panels and in the media with a view to increase the representation and visibility of LGBTQIA+ women and raise awareness around the specific issues faced by this community in the workplace and beyond. Within Interbank, where she was the second only female Co-Chair, she set up a sub-committee dedicated to women focused initiatives, organising regular events with the goal to empower women and create a safe space for them.
In recognition of her work, Marion was named in the top 50 LGBT+ Future Leaders list presented by the Financial Times in 2017. In 2019, she was nominated in the top 10 LGBT+ Future Leaders category at the British LGBT Awards. She was nominated in the Involve HERoes Women Role Model category two years in a row in 2020 and 2021, and in 2021 and 2022, she was listed in the top 10 Advocate of the Year category at the Women in Finance Awards. Finally, she was nominated in the Diversity Champion of the Year category at the DIVA Awards in April 2023.
