As an active member of various employee resource groups, I am always encouraging others to join DE&I discussions, and sharing my experiences with volunteering/events with colleagues. I recently spoke on a panel for National Coming Out day to help further DE&I discussions within my business line, and have represented HSBC at the annual Out & Equal Workplace Summit.
I am proud to be a Project 1000 role model because it helps me be a more visible ambassador for LGBT+ DE&I, both within my company and through LGBT Great. I hope my participation in events will help empower others to be more confident in being themselves at work and thereby create more inclusive workspaces.
