About
Bio: Liz is a portfolio manager on the Financial Reserves Management Team at Wellington Management. She manages multisector and crossover portfolios for clients with customized risk and return objectives often related to accounting and regulatory constraints, such as insurance clients. Since starting her career at Wellington, she has worked extensively on all aspects of the core bond, municipal bond, and sector allocations across insurance clients.
Liz is a founding member of the firm's Pride+ ERG (serving as co-chair), is a founding member of the Insurance Women's Investment Network (IWIN) and is actively involved in the firm's DEI initiatives serving as a primary liaison and leader in conjunction with key stakeholders such as clients and external diversity associations, e.g. PFLAG.
She is a visible representation of success and leadership, working with senior management as a trusted advisor on all LGBT related issues for the firm. Liz serves as an ongoing mentor to LGBT talent within the firm and a role model as one of the firm's only out LGBT Portfolio Managers. She continues to advise the Pride+ business network and is committed to growing and developing the next generation of LGBT talent pipeline. As the outgoing Chair of our U.S. charitable Foundation, her devotion to providing educational opportunities to underserved communities is driven by her passion as a mom and seasoned professional who has taken the time to understand childhood development needs.
Liz received her BA in economics cum laude from Dartmouth College (2001). Additionally, she holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston, Inc.
